High Heels

I don't have a massive collection of heels, i'm more of a trainers kind of girl.

However, this has led me to have a small refined collection of heels that I really love.

So, for my H for High Heels post I will be showing you some of my favourites pairs of shoes and the little stories they have behind them.

These Suede Sand coloured, lace-up heels we're my first proper pair of high heels. I saw them online whilst looking for some shoes to wear to a wedding and instantly fell in love with them.

If I can remember correctly they were priced at about £45 and were from Miss Selfridge. Baring in mind this was over three years ago and at the time I definitely didn't have a spare £45 to spend on shoes, I was pretty gutted when I came to the realisation that these beauties would never be mine...

That was until one day my wonderful Dwayne surprised me with them!!!! I had no idea and literally burst with happiness inside AND they were the right size ;). They're not in as great condition now as they were in the picture but I would still proudly wear them over three years on.

My second beauties are these Strappy Open-Toe heels.

They were originally priced at around £40 from Dorothy Perkins but I managed to get them for about £20 in the sales & by using a discount code online! I wore them to a Christmas Ball last year and I actually bought them before buying my dress because I loved them so much. My feet are in-between a Size 5 & 6 and as I bought them online I thought it would be best to go for the bigger size. When they came they didn't have that perfect fit that I would have liked but I just thought to myself "they'll do". But then funnily enough whilst shopping for a dress I found the same shoes in a size 5 and they fitted perfectly so i bought them and returned the original ones.

Next I have these Cut Out detailed heeled boots that I got from New Look for £25.

I don't really have much of a story for these to be honest. I bought them to wear to a birthday party in February. They're not very comfortable but I love the look of them on and are a great addition to many outfits, so I grin and bare the pain!

Lastly, my latest buy are these Black Beaded Ankle Strap Open Toe Heels also from New Look. I bought them to wear to a Wedding in August which I blogged about here. They cost me about £22.50 with my student discount.

I loved the detail in the beads and how they sparkle in the light. I just couldn't resist them! I don't really have a story for these shoes either however I do have to mention that this time last year I would have cried ten thousand rivers if someone said I had to wear open toed shoes. I just really hated having my feet on show. I don't really know when or where the change happened but I wore sandals all summer without a care in the world who was looking at my toes. Oh how times change, ey!

Now I just need to get some cozy heeled boots for the winter!
