"Friends are the family we choose"
F is for Friends.
We all have at least one friend that we've known for a very long time.
Friendships I've had since I was young are the ones I find most fascinating. Someone who's practically grown up with you, seen you through everything good & bad AND still continues to be your friend despite it all. As you get older circumstances change, you go your separate ways yet your friendship never fades. It's deep rooted not only in time but in trust and commitment.
Something I've recently learnt first handedly about friendship is that your closest friends are not necessarily the people you've known the longest. Which is interesting because the people screaming "No New Friends" are the ones who are potentially missing out on something beautiful.
With that being said, value your friendships & don't be afraid to make new ones. Some people are in your life for a reason and others for a season but nonetheless they will all impact you and change you for the better.
In light of this post I have dug deep through the archives and blown the dust off some very old pictures of me and my closest friends! Enjoy!
